We all have dreams of who we want to be and what we would like to do in our lives, but many of those who are fully capable of achieving these dreams don’t pursue them. This is because most people don’t necessarily want to take big risks in their lives. These are the risks that affect your income, time or even your life. Taking risks can seem like a gamble. The changes that these risk cause, can be really good, really bad or somewhere in between. We all want the really good or just good in general, but don’t always want to take the chance of something bad happening. Playing it safe most likely won’t help you achieve your dreams unless your dreams aren’t that big. However, taking risks and getting out of your comfort zone can open many doors that can help you get one or many steps closer to where you want to be. You will ultimately grow as a person and experience new things that can also lead to failure, but that is also a plus when taking risks. Failure is also a stepping stone to success because when you fail, you learn what works and what doesn’t so that the next time around, when you take that risk again it doesn’t seem so scary. Many of the successful people you see on TV and read about in magazines started from the bottom just like everyone else, but the difference is that they were brave enough to take risks that lead them to the career and life of their dreams.
